Today was Palm Sunday, so everyone in our church wore Hawaiian/tropical clothes. We had upbeat music and lots of energetic worship. What a blessing to have FUN at church! Today was also Community Breakfast, which is our new monthly ministry. There were 52 people served from the community, and that number will no doubt grow as the "3rd Sundays" come and go. Being a member at Quapaw is like nothing I've ever felt at church - and I grew up Methodist! It feels like therapy. We just survive and make it through together. The world is really a better place because of Quapaw because so many people are so dedicated to reaching out in the world to make people's lives better. I am so impressed (obviously).
Then I had lunch with Linda and the girls. Someday, Amanda's going to quit studying...
